Job summary

MaineGuide seeks dependable Construction Laborers for ongoing commercial projects around Lewiston and Southern Maine. Responsibilities include site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled tradesmen in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a 10-hour OSHA certificate, at least one year of construction experience, and reliable transportation. Demolition experience is a plus. Pay is $20–$22 per hour, based on experience and references.

Responsibilities

• Site cleanup and material handling according to project plans or specifications.

• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
• Demolition experience is a plus.
• Assist skilled tradesmen on site.

We’re currently seeking dependable Construction Laborers for active and ongoing commercial projects throughout the Lewiston and surrounding Southern Maine areas. Responsibilities may include site cleanup, material handling, demolition, and assisting skilled tradesmen in a fast-paced construction environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, build valuable skills, and work alongside some of the region’s top contractors.

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures
• Demolition experience a plus

The ideal candidate has a 10-hour OSHA certificate. At least one year of construction experience. Commercial demolition experience is a plus. Must be reliable, have transportation and be able to work independently. Positive attitude, attention to detail and focus on safety and quality is required.

Pay is $20-$22 based on experience, background, and references.
