MaineGuide is seeking dependable Construction Laborers for ongoing commercial projects across Portland, Windham and nearby Southern Maine areas. You will assist skilled trades, perform site cleanup, and help with material handling in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of construction experience and an OSHA 10-hour certificate; demolition experience is a plus. Reliable transportation and a safety-focused mindset are required, with opportunities to grow skills.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, have transportation and be able to work independently.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and focus on safety and quality.

Responsabilités

• Site cleanup and preparation to eliminate hazards.
• Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, or tools and distribute them as per plans.
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, barricades, ramps, or temporary structures.
• Demolition experience is a plus.

We're currently seeking dependable Construction Laborers for a variety of active ongoing commercial projects throughout Portland, Windham, and other surrounding Southern Maine areas. Responsibilities may include site cleanup, material handling, demolition, and assisting skilled tradesmen in a fast-paced construction environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and work alongside some of the region's top contractors.

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures
• Demolition experience a plus

The ideal candidate has a 10-hour OSHA certificate. At least one year of construction experience. Commercial demolition experience is a plus. Must be reliable, have transportation and be able to work independently. Positive attitude, attention to detail and focus on safety and quality is required.

Pay is $20-$22 based on experience, background, and references.
