Position Summary:

• Labor Source seeks qualified Commercial Construction Laborers for work.

Job Description/Primary Function of Commercial Construction Laborers:

• Assist contractor within Commercial Construction Project(s).

This position is accountable for providing designated labor support at the project. They are responsible for performing a variety of basic physical tasks under the direction of Supervisory, Skilled or Semi-skilled personnel.

Requirements (although not limited to):

• Prior construction or field experience is preferred but not required. However, the incumbent must:
• Be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Be able to understand and follow specific directions from supervision.
• Be able to successfully complete all job specific orientations, safety and/or job related training(s) that may be required.
• Have the ability to work with close supervision and be capable of repeating tasks of short duration according to established operating procedures and work practices.
• Be capable of working within standards of accuracy as dictated by the customer.

Responsibilities (although not limited to):

• Removal of wallboard, carpet, tile, fixtures, cabinetry, ductwork, metal studs, cables.
• Transport/Distribute materials/debris to proper receptacle.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies.
• Multi-tasking of various daily task-to-task, on-site progressions.
• Participates in Safety and Environmental compliance initiatives.

A successful Drug Screening is required.
