UEC is seeking a construction internship participant to support project delivery and coordination across multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to track material, manage files, and assist with document control.

The role offers mentorship, software training, and networking opportunities during a 10-week immersive program, with a focus on safety, quality control, and client communication.

Qualifikationen

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business concentrations.
• Previous internship, volunteer work, or work experience is a plus.
• Passion for construction and the general contracting industry.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support various aspects of project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractors and supplier coordination, material tracking, and file management.
• Contribute to document control processes, including drafting submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Support the preparation of bid packages and assist in soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids.
• Aid in progress reporting and updates for internal teams and client communication.
• Assist with jobsite responsibilities such as reviewing construction drawings, verifying site conditions, coordinating trades, and supporting safety and quality control efforts.
• Engage in networking and social events, professional development opportunities, educational classes (including software training), and corporate responsibility initiatives.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited university within construction, engineering, or business concentrations.
• Previous industry internship, volunteer work, or work experience is a plus.
• Passion for construction and the general contracting industry.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office 365 (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Procore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
• Exceptional customer and client focus with ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
