Job Title: Commercial Estimator

Location: Windsor, CO

Experience Required: 5+ years

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000+ annually (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to join our preconstruction team in Windsor, CO. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction estimating, with the ability to analyze drawings, collaborate with project teams, and develop competitive bids that align with project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and scope reviews
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate budgets and seamless project transitions
• Assist with value engineering and project cost control initiatives
• Maintain historical cost database and assist with forecasting
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Skilled in using estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities
