Lumicity is seeking an estimator to join our team in Wisconsin. You will review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cost estimates and takeoffs for commercial construction projects.

Candidate should have experience with subcontractor pricing, bid leveling, and value-engineering opportunities, while coordinating with project management and operations to ensure on-time handoff and successful bids.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction.
• Experience with takeoffs, bid leveling, and subcontractor pricing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate cost estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Identify value-engineering opportunities
• Work closely with project management and operations teams
• Support projects from preconstruction through handoff
