Southeast General Construction Inc. is seeking a sharp Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team in Cumming, GA. This in-office role focuses on winning bids, analyzing plans, and delivering precise cost estimates for commercial projects.

You will perform quantity takeoffs, review subcontractor bids, and work closely with project managers to shape bids that meet budget and schedule targets. Our team values accuracy, strategy, and hands-on collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and trades.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from bid documents and blueprints.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment across all trades.
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to identify potential risks and cost impacts.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during the pre-construction phase.
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating templates.
• Support bid submissions, proposal writing, and client presentations.
