Job summary

Southside Bank in Austin, Texas seeks a Construction Draw Specialist to support processing draws for commercial borrowers. You will review requests, coordinate inspections, and post advances to the core system, ensuring alignment with loan agreements and policies.

You will communicate with lenders, borrowers, inspectors, and title companies, verify documentation, and monitor progress while maintaining confidentiality and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with construction draw terminology, project phases, and common industry practices.
• Familiar with participation/syndication loans including both lead and purchased positions.
• Knowledge of financial institution policies and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews submitted draw requests from contractors and/or borrowers, ensuring they align with the project budget, loan agreements, and relevant documentation.
• Communicates with external vendors including third-party inspectors, surveyors, and title companies to gather project data and will input data into the draw monitoring system.
• Updates project completion progress in draw monitoring system in accordance with inspections.
• Communicates with lenders, lending assistants, borrowers, vendors on draw requests, including status updates, discrepancies, or any issues encountered when reviewing requests.
• Confirm that all necessary documentation, such as invoices, lien waivers, and inspection reports are accurate and complete.
