Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. Flexibility is required to adapt tasks to client specifications.

We offer full-time and part-time janitorial positions, with a Monday–Friday schedule and emphasis on reliability and teamwork. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour and prior experience or education is considered alongside on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months in a janitorial role.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and, where needed, operate the compactor.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
