Job summary

CBRE in Asheville seeks a commercial cleaner responsible for daily cleaning in high-traffic areas, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal, following company standards. The role requires stocking restrooms, cleaning windows, and maintaining safe storage of supplies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of job-related experience required.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and follow routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely at all times.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for use of chemicals and power equipment.
• Attend regular staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Follow basic work routines and apply procedures to solve straightforward problems.
