Job summary

Summit Building Services in Cleveland OH is seeking a part-time janitorial attendant for a downtown commercial building. The role covers cleaning offices, conference rooms, and kitchens with a 2nd shift schedule, totaling about 3 hours weekly (Tue and Fri after 5pm). Pay is $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, floors, restrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment. Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks and a drug test are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings.
• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, etc.
• Clean floors: dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and pick up larger objects off the floor.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, spot clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors, and clean toilets and urinals.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies.
• Maintain organization of assigned areas: keep clean and dirty laundry separate and keep the janitors closet clean.
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share relevant facility information.
• Communicates with Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other relevant issues or concerns.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an open commercial cleaning position in downtown Cleveland. Our goal is to keep the building in a clean and well-kept condition. This is a traditional office building, including private offices, conference rooms, and kitchen/lunchroom space.

3 hours weekly: Tuesday & Friday 1.5 hour shifts after 5pm

Pay: $ 16.50

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to pass a drug test and background check.

• Use the communication book to request consumables and share relevant facility information
• Communicates with Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other relevant issues or concerns
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
