Job description

As a J&J Cleaning Coordinator, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal. This role is part of the Cleaning Services function, ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.

Shift :

1st & 2nd shifts

What You’ll Do :

1. Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as designated by the supervisor.
2. Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
3. Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
4. Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture as needed.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools.
6. Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely at all times. Complete detailed cleaning checklists for each area.
7. Follow standardized cleaning procedures according to company standards.
8. Use chemical cleaners and power equipment following safety procedures.
9. Attend regular staff meetings and required training sessions.
10. Adhere to work routines and standards, applying procedures consistently.
11. Address straightforward problems using established procedures, with limited discretion.
12. Perform duties based on clearly defined tasks, methods, and processes under supervision.

What You’ll Need :

• High School Diploma or GED; relevant experience is a plus.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy loads (lbs. or more).
• Ability to follow work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
