Job summary

Clean Team in Batesville, IN is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at our location. The ideal candidate will ensure spaces are safe, sanitary and presentable; training is provided if needed.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required. You will work with a professional cleaning team committed to excellence, with opportunities to grow and learn safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail to perform thorough cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management to complete duties within shifts.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/equipment is desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Restock paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.

The ideal candidate will ensure that workspaces are safe, sanitary, and presentable, supporting a clean environment for employees and visitors alike. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Available Shift:

Monday-Friday 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Duties:

• Perform thorough cleaning of restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and other designated areas within the commercial building
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred; custodial experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Qualifications:

• Punctual and reliable attendance record.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
• Push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
