Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial drywall carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools related to drywall installation and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of drywall materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy drywall sheets and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with other team members on the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Measure, cut, and install metal studs, drywall sheets, ceilings, and partitions in commercial buildings.
• Repairs and Patching: Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by patching and replacing drywall as needed.

• Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate drywall and other material installation.
• Health and Safety: Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
