Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to install doors, frames, hardware, and bathroom accessories while ensuring safety and building-code compliance. The role reports to the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.

Responsibilities include installing architectural-grade doors, inspecting structures, reading blueprints, and constructing building frameworks on varied job sites. Onsite work with a strong emphasis on safety and quality is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry/construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install doors, frames, hardware, and bathroom accessories per drawings and ADA standards.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or fixtures.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand requirements.
• Construct and install building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes.
