Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, or replace damaged woodwork or fixtures.
• Operate tools and equipment safely (saws, drills, nail guns, welding tools).
• Collaborate with team and follow all safety procedures.
• Track hours worked and materials used accurately.

Talent Corps is looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team in Herndon, VA. If you have a strong work ethic, proven carpentry skills, and enjoy working on diverse projects, we want to hear from you!

Location: Around Herndon, VA area
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $28–$32/hr (based on experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

What You’ll Do:

• Build and repair decks, stairs, and structural fixtures using wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Metal shelving, mounting, mount marker boards
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Measure, cut, and shape materials with hand and power tools
• Construct walls, floors, door frames, and other framework
• Inspect, repair, or replace damaged woodwork or fixtures
• Operate tools and equipment safely (e.g., saws, drills, nail guns, welding tools)
• Install job site signage and drive fence posts
• Provide general labor and site support as needed
• Collaborate with team members and follow all safety procedures
• Track hours worked and materials used accurately
