AT&I Systems is a security integrator serving South Florida since 2005. The Commercial Service Technician role focuses on the installation and service of IP-based camera systems, access control, and burglar alarm systems, traveling locally to job sites and collaborating with technical support to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial security service, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell and DMP products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; military or technical training is a plus.
• 3+ years servicing commercial security cameras and access control systems.
• Solid technical skills in servicing/installing security cameras, access controls, and alarms.
• Experience with Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell and DMP is a plus.

Job Description: Commercial Camera and Access Control Service Technician and Installers

Position Summary

Commercial Only Service or Installation of IP based Cloud and on-premises Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems. Primary brands include Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell, and DMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Service and Installation of IP Camera Systems, Access Control and Burglar Alarm Systems.
• Repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
• Consult with AT&I technical support personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and AT&I promptly to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
• Acts as our customers' best service provider to ensure that AT&I Systems is the customers' first choice for service.
• Executes all service calls in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures
• May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques, and standards as well as suggestions for product improvements.

Knowledge and Skills

• 3+ years servicing Commercial Security Cameras and Access Control Systems preferred.
• High School diploma required; Military training in electronics or Technical School certification is preferred.
• Solid technical skills and experience servicing/installing security cameras, access controls, and alarm systems.
• Experience with Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell and DMP is a plus.
• Ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
• To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as a drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly.
