This is a remote commission only Independent Contractor position. Considerable geographic flexibility to live and work where you prefer to thrive is of paramount importance for us. Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop new and successfully manage and build existing client relationships.
• Enact diverse prospecting strategies to source, originate, and successfully close loans at a high level.
• Immerse yourself in property characteristics and market dynamics preferably within your local market.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of loan programs and effectively communicate with a variety of banks and other capital sources, lending platforms, including TLC’s in-house private credit fund.
• Analyze and comprehend borrower’s financial documents, such as bank statements, tax returns and historical income and expense data for the borrower’s real estate holdings.
• Prepare detailed, organized and accurate initial loan submissions to various banks and other capital sources, including our in-house private credit fund, in order to obtain an initial conditional loan approval (LOI).
• Work directly with our loan processing and underwriting team(s) to properly structure and package borrower and property financials per lender specific guidelines using industry best practices.

What’s Required and What Will Make You Stand Out?

• 2-5 years’ experience or more in the commercial and/or 1–4-unit business purpose lending space. *We are willing to train and support the right candidate; who has considerable 1–4-unit investment property origination experience only, and desires to learn how to successfully originate and close commercial loans as well.
• Proven track record exhibiting extraordinary results.
• You must hold a valid Salesperson or Broker's License with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to represent the company’s broad lending spectrum in California. *MLO license is NOT required, nor will it be utilized with this position. OK to work “other” states that do not require a license to originate, lend and/or broker a commercial and/or 1–4-unit business purpose loan, where the company and/or you are not specifically licensed in that state.
• Experience in commercial loan sales with an in-depth understanding of analyzing properties and borrowers is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and being detailed oriented are necessary for success and to join our all-star team.
• Highly motivated, independent, and entrepreneurial spirited candidates who are looking for resources, support and decades of experience to help grow their personal book of business are preferred.

Nationwide lending opportunities are available (some restrictions apply). We are a California based COMMERCIAL/BUSINESS PURPOSE ONLY Lender and Broker, and our primary license(s) is/are based here in California. We are licensed with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) and our subsidiary holds a California Financing Law License (CFL) as a Commercial Financing Lender and Broker (limited loan product sales exist under this license). You MUST hold a valid Salesperson or Broker's License with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to represent the company’s broad lending spectrum in California. *MLO license is NOT required, nor will it be utilized with this position. OK to work “other” states that do not require a license to originate, lend and/or broker a commercial and/or 1–4-unit business purpose loan, where the company and/or you are not specifically licensed in that state.
