Commercial Business Development Manager in Bay Area

This position is for a Commercial Business Development Manager in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities include performing customer sales and service functions, supporting local and national corporate efforts, and consulting with the Supervisor regarding financial goals and performance objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Be a good ambassador for COIT Services, Inc.
  • Provide prompt and professional service to all customers.
  • Develop sales and customer base within assigned territory.
  • Promote all COIT services offered.
  • Maintain existing customer base through regular contact.
  • Maintain excellent records on all customers and prospects.
  • Enter all information into the designated CRM.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's environment and industry.
  • Write and present proposals and close sales.
  • Communicate with customers according to established company standards.
  • Complete customer appointments and keep internal personnel informed.
  • Determine customer requirements and provide accurate job prices.
  • Follow established policies and resolve customer concerns.
  • Assist with training new personnel and establish ethical sales practices.

Other Duties:

  • Represent COIT at sales functions, including trade shows and meetings.
  • Attend department meetings as required.
  • Maintain effective working relationships.

Physical Demands: This position requires extensive walking, standing, stooping, and bending, as well as traveling to marketing appointments.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
