A growing insurance company is seeking a Commercial Business Development Executive to lead field contact with independent agents in the Michigan and Indiana regions. This role, primarily field-based, focuses on agent appointment and driving profitable growth through analytics and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance sales and excellent communication skills, while being able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
The Commercial Business Development Executive serves as the lead field contact for independent agents with ownership for profitable growth. Your territory is all of Michigan and Indiana. You will report to the AVP, Regional Sales.
This primarily field-based role involves spending 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working in the field, directly interacting with customers, agents, and agency staff. Occasional travel to office locations for meetings, training, or cultural events may be required.
