SAFEbuilt is hiring a Commercial Building Inspector for the Greater El Paso area. You will perform daily field inspections of residential, commercial, and public facility projects, review plans for code compliance, and interact with the public to explain technical information.

The role includes maintaining records and using permitting software. Ideal candidates hold ICC Commercial Combination Inspector credentials, Texas Plumbing Inspector license (or within 6 months) and have strong

Qualifications

Performs daily field inspections of residential, commercial and public facility construction projects.
Explains technical information to technically and non-technical audiences.
Reviews residential and commercial plans and calculations for building component code compliance.
Provides interpretations of City, State, Federal, and local standards and ordinances.
Maintains accurate records to document inspections and test results.
Enters inspection results into permitting software.
Performs other related duties as required.
