Job summary

Suntide Commercial Realty seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician / Building Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial building systems across managed properties in Saint Paul, MN. You will ensure buildings operate safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing outstanding tenant service.

Applicants should have 5+ years in commercial building maintenance with strong HVAC knowledge and BAS experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial building maintenance or building engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, controls, and mechanical systems.
Experience with BAS preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve building system issues.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on commercial buildings.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment.
Monitor and adjust BAS for efficient operations.
Inspect building systems and complete repairs and replacements.
General building maintenance including plumbing, lighting, electrical, doors and painting.
Respond to tenant service requests and work orders promptly.
Coordinate repairs with property managers, vendors, and ownership.
Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
Support seasonal maintenance and building inspections.
