Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a building trades curriculum at a recognized technical school is desirable.
• Two to three years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Possess valid state driver’s license to travel to adjacent properties or respond to after-hours trouble calls.

Responsibilities

• Complete operating, maintenance, and repair tasks to assure life and reliability of mechanical systems.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work as allowed by applicable codes.
• General building maintenance including doors, painting, ceilings, floors.
• Respond to trouble calls or requests for assistance from tenants.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Keep equipment and emergency systems in good operating condition.
