Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled boiler technician to maintain and operate boiler systems on site in Reno, NV. The role requires completing daily checks, performing PM maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance across boiler infrastructure, with readiness for emergency callouts.

Candidates should have a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling, 5+ years of commercial AC experience, and a valid driver’s license; Rule 1415 certification is mandatory, EMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Available for emergency call outs.
• Team player and able to work with other trades and client staff.
• Rule 1415 certified.
• EMS experience (Staefa/Siemens) a plus.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
