Job summary

Anderson Hospital is seeking a billing professional to manage Commercial and non-government claims, plus Medicare Advantage and related payors. You will work with Meditech and XClaim systems to ensure accurate billing and compliance with contracts and regulations.

Ideal candidates have hospital patient accounts experience and familiarity with late/lost charge reviews, with strong attention to detail and efficient payment resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Commercial billing preferred.
• Experience in hospital patient accounts preferred.
• Meditech experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• BILLS Commercial and non-government claims for the hospital groups.
• BILLS Medicare Advantage, Tricare, and Central Billing Office claims.
• BILLS claims accurately and in compliance with contractual requirements and regulations.
• Reviews Meditech account checks and resolves issues to expedite payment.
• Reviews and analyzes late and lost charges and determines required action.
• Participates in department education on payor changes and standards.
