Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Commercial Banking Analyst Team Leader in the Charlotte area. You will supervise a team supporting Middle Market Banking, coordinating deal teams, and guiding analyst training and onboarding.

You’ll influence deal structuring, analyze debt capacity, and drive performance through regular coaching. The role requires a college degree and 5+ years in financial services with leadership experience, plus strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• 5+ years of financial services experience with emphasis in sales management / leadership.
• Fundamental knowledge of commercial banking products, credit, deposits and services.
• Strategic thinker who can influence decisions and innovate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization, planning and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of bank operations, systems and regulatory issues.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a team of Commercial Banking Analysts supporting Middle Market Banking.
• Lead deal teams through internal screening, term sheets and pitch decks.
• Manage live deal execution with bankers, partners and analysts.
• Advance idea generation around deal structuring and proposals.
• Assist with financial modeling and debt capacity analysis.
• Assist with analyst training program oversight.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding of teammates.
• Manage resource allocation and regular performance reviews.
