Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President for the CB Finance team to drive financial analytics and reporting for senior leaders across Commercial Banking. You will build and maintain financial models, run deep dives on key drivers, and partner with Analytics to deliver insightful, decision-ready analyses.

This role leads a team and supports strategic initiatives with a focus on automation and timely, accurate financial insight for Investor Day and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting.
• Experience in corporate financial analytics with an understanding of a Bank’s balance sheet, P&L and key drivers.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and relationship management skills, strong executive presence, and ability to tell a story with data.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately.
• Strong work ethic; work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary.
• Experience with managing/leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead dialogue with senior leadership and stakeholders across Commercial Bank on trends, performance, strategy, and industry context.
• Develop and present insightful qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for senior management; support ad-hoc projects.
• Prepare materials for financial reporting meetings, quarterly reviews, and budget.
• Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (recurring and ad-hoc).
• Conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients/business to determine root cause and propose solutions.
• Partner with Analytics and Reporting teams to develop insightful reporting focusing on drivers and actions.
• Drive value by simplifying processes, accelerating automation, and enhancing analytics and business support.
• Lead and manage a team.
