Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks a seasoned Commercial Credit Analyst for a US bank in New Jersey. The role focuses on underwriting commercial and industrial loans with deal values from $1M to $20M, ensuring credit quality and risk controls.

The position is non-supervisory and combines 3 days on-site with 2 days remote. Must hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and operate under a fixed PTO and sick leave policy.

Qualifications

• Underwrite C&I loans with values from $1M to $20M
• Non-supervisory role
• US bank with assets ≥ $8B
• 3 days onsite / 2 days remote in NJ (Bergen County preferred)
• Not VP/EVP/Officer
• 15 PTO days and 40 hours sick leave

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial and industrial (C&I) loan transactions in the $1M–$20M range
• Maintain rigorous credit judgment and risk controls in a bank environment

Job description

• MUST come from a US Bank, not an investment house
• MUST come from US Banks of approximately 8B in assets or more
• MUST have a Bachelor’s degree
• MUST have a minimum of 5 years as a Commercial Credit Analyst
• Non-supervisory role
• The job is 3 days a week onsite/2 days remote preferably in Bergen County, NJ. However, other locations in NJ are available
• This job is not a VP, EVP or Officer role
• 15 PTO days and 40 hours sick leave
• Key Drivers: Heavy experience underwriting C&I (commercial and industrial) transactions/loans at a minimum value of 1 million dollars. This team is typically underwriting commercial loans from 1-20M in value.
