Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Center Manager to lead a dynamic team in Irvine, delivering exceptional service and driving growth in the business market.

You will supervise commercial lenders, manage large, complex credits, and ensure compliance while promoting the bank through community involvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
• 8+ years of experience in all phases of commercial lending in the local market (Required).
• 6+ years of supervisory or management experience (Required).

• Develop and execute sales, marketing, and business development strategies for the Commercial Banking Center.
• Lead and mentor a team of commercial lenders to build profitable relationships with business customers.
• Monitor and manage large and complex credits across diverse industries and loan types.

• Create a positive work environment that fosters career growth and job satisfaction.
• Manage income and expense budgets for the center.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and build strong relationships outside the team.
• Promote the bank and its services through community involvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.

What we're looking for

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
• You have 8 or more years of experience in all phases of commercial lending in the local market (Required).
• You have 6 or more years of supervisory or management experience (Required).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Compensation & Benefits

• Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $175,000 - $234,965
• Annual incentive potential
