Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to support a Broker and/or Associate Broker with administrative tasks related to the placement of new and renewal business, preparing reports and documents, and providing exemplary customer care.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt quickly to changes.

Essential Functions

• Provide excellent customer service to retail partners.
• Prepare and submit submissions to carrier partners for quoting.
• Process and send renewal quotes, endorsements, audits, cancellations, binders, and other policy lifecycle tasks.
• Prepare risk or claims summaries as needed.
• Respond to calls and requests regarding issues, delays, or discrepancies.
• Support broker in renewal retention and new business growth.
• Communicate effectively with retail and carrier partners.
• Track and request missing information from outside sources.
• Maintain organized files in a paperless environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
