Duffy’s AIS is seeking a skilled Commercial Appliance Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment in central New York. You will be the face of our team, driving a company van home after shifts and representing a growing, values-driven service provider.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration, with after-hours standby rotation and ongoing training to keep skills sharp. CFESA certification is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Problem solver with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent customer communication and professionalism.
• 100% dedication to being on time, organized, and hardworking.
• Basic computer literacy and paperwork ability.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Commercial Appliance Service Technician

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 Full-time

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team! Want to drive a company van home and represent a team that values you as more than just a number? Once skill levels are achieved, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration & more.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
• Must be at least 18 yrs of age
• We will train for job specific repairs and equipment

Desired Characteristics

• Two years of cooking equipment service (or related military) experience
• Refrigeration/ HVAC experience
• EPA 608 Certificatio n
• CFESA Certification and Factory training
