A leading financial institution is seeking a Commercial Account Specialist to manage account openings and client interactions. This remote role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a high school diploma, and over 5 years of customer service experience. The compensation ranges from $62,310 to $119,200, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
This role is responsible for all tasks related to opening and maintaining accounts (demand deposit and time deposit) across the Commercial Bank for new and existing clients, including client contact. In addition to Commercial Bank, this role provides oversight related to document review and involves collaboration with other business partners including, but not limited to: Institutional Bank, Business Banking, Legal and Corporate Risk Private Banking, and Consumer Bank. This position is accountable for providing an unparalleled customer experience.
Review legal documentation to analyze entity documentation for entities such as Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Joint Ventures and Trusts, to properly title and determine authorized signers on banking documents for both new and existing clients.
Process requests from existing clients to add or change a signer on an existing account.
Document the beneficial ownership of each legal entity customer account, including natural persons who own the entity and natural persons who will access the banking and payment systems through the account.
Prepare all new or updated banking documents and paperwork to efficiently open/update deposit account requests while adhering to compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
Establish accounts through the Business Automation Workflow Process Management (BPM BAW) system accurately, timely and efficiently.
Perform StartRight for new accounts opened.
Maintain a thorough and complete client file including all documentation required for ongoing client support and regulatory requirements.
Track requests and participate in team meetings to analyze requests, solve common issues, and recommend changes to training or procedures.
Respond timely to all internal and external client calls, questions and/or concerns.
Facilitate the clearance of all Account Opening Escalations in a timely manner.
Work in collaboration with the Relationship Team while setting clear expectations regarding deliverables and due dates.
High school diploma or equivalency
5+ years of providing unparalleled customer experience
1+ year of banking or financial services experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround requests
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good time management skills and self-motivation
Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
Good problem solving skills
Compensation Range:
$62,310.00 - $119,200.00
