Job summary

Versant Media is seeking a Commerce Writer/Editor for its E! commerce division. You will craft engaging shoppable content, edit articles, and optimize coverage across editorial calendars and affiliate partnerships.

The role requires strong writing, data-driven instincts, and the ability to drive revenue through performance insights and collaboration with growth and commerce leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a shopping, pop culture or marketing writer.
• Digitally savvy with CMS and SEO.
• Excellent copywriting with brand-appropriate voice.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and optimize assigned e-commerce articles per editorial calendars.
• Pitch and develop high-intent commerce stories using trends and affiliate data.
• Manage paid content, placements, and affiliate partnerships while maintaining brand voice.
• Book interviews with celebrities and experts for original shoppable content.
• Oversee product selection and merchandising based on EPC, commissions, and relevance.
• Optimize content with headlines, product assortment and retailer placements.
• Identify new commerce opportunities by monitoring performance and trends.
• Support affiliate operations including link QA and partner onboarding.
• Build relationships with affiliate partners and retailers and surface new offers.
• Translate performance trends into editorial, merchandising and optimization recommendations.
