Kleinfelder’s Irving (DFW) TX office is looking for a CoMET Laboratory Geotechnical Technician Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples, including concrete cylinder compression testing, and prepare accurate reports.

The candidate should have 0-3 years of laboratory testing experience, BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or Geosciences, and an EIT is preferred (or obtainable within 6

Kleinfelder’s Irving (DFW) TX office is looking for a CoMET Laboratory Geotechnical Technician Professional to join our team.

We are looking for someone experienced in:

• Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
• Performing concrete cylinder compression testing
• Following proper procedures and standards
• Performing accurate computations
• Performing accurate report preparation
• Maintaining cordial relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and/or regulators.
• Providing a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
• Demonstrating the ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred

The Laboratory Technician Professional will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

The preferred candidate will have 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience.

The ideal candidate will also have:

• BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or Geosciences is required.
• EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)
