Job Summary

Responsible for the development of territories and driving the sales of Comcast Business strategic products and solutions in new markets. Responsible for the acquisition and management of mid-market and enterprise, multi-location commercial customers through direct and partner channels. Designs and delivers live sales presentations to prospective clients, develops relationships with clients and the community, and positions the Comcast Business brand as key components of the sales strategy, in keeping with Comcast's touchstones. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in selling complex solutions. Usually determines own work priorities.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  1. Develops the strategy of the sales territory, including identifying strategic partnerships, planning the development of a territory, and cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  2. Actively researches and generates new leads with targeted businesses through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
  3. Promotes and positions the Comcast brand within the territory.
  4. Builds relationships and ensures alignment and communication between key GTM partners.
  5. Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  6. Sells with goals of exceeding departmental financial and unit targets.
  7. Stays updated on the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services effectively.
  8. Retains customer base by delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  9. Works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet or exceed customer expectations.
  10. Maintains accurate sales records and prepares reports as required.
  11. Attends customer meetings regularly, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Demonstrates knowledge of Network Design, SDWAN, Network Security, MAN technologies, Ethernet, Internet Technologies, Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP), Data Networking Technologies, Networking Protocols, Customer Premise Equipment, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
  13. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters. Maintains punctuality and regular attendance. Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
