Job summary

PALA Interstate, LLC is seeking a skilled welder to perform Stick and TIG welding on pipe in an industrial setting. The role requires reading specifications, blueprints, and plans, climbing to elevated platforms, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Experience with carbon and stainless steels is essential. Qualified candidates will have multiple years of welding experience, pass site-specific weld tests, and be capable of welding in all positions.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have welding experience in sticks and TIG pipe welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and welding procedures.
• Must be able to climb and work from elevated platforms and maintain a safe work area.
• Experience welding carbon and stainless steels and alloys is required.

Responsibilities

• Read layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders and welding procedures.
• Plan work sequence and select tools and equipment.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
