Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced structural/weld technician to join our team in Charleston, WV. The role involves laying out, aligning and welding fabricated components to assemble machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels and related structures per blueprints and metallurgy.

Primary responsibilities include installing, modifying and repairing pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers and furnaces, setting up equipment and welding using arc methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums.
• Set up equipment and weld pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Ensure product quality with reasonable efficiency.
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs.
