Job summary

Worley is seeking a Combo Welder for night shifts in Louisiana. The role involves laying out, aligning, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and pressure vessels in accordance with blueprints and metallurgy.

The successful candidate will install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums, working from blueprints and specifications to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums.
• Set up equipment and weld pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Ensure product quality work with reasonable efficiency.
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs.
• Assist other mechanics and support teams.

Position Summary

Lays out, aligns and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, buildings and pipe, according to blueprints and metallurgy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums
• Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Product quality work with reasonable efficiency
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs
• Assist other mechanics
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications
