Job summary

Worley is seeking a Specialty Welder for night shift who will lay out, align and weld fabricated components to assemble machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnaces and pipe per blueprints.

The position requires a minimum of 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance and flux-core welding. You will set up equipment, weld pipe, plate or structural steel using arc methods, read blueprints, and assist other mechanics on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Must be able to weld flux core.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums
• Set up equipment and weld pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Product quality work with reasonable efficiency
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs
• Assist other mechanics
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
