Job summary

EXCEL Group is seeking an experienced Combo Welder to join our team in the United States. You will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of welded components across industrial projects.

Responsibilities include reading drawings and welding to specifications using Stick, MIG, TIG, and Flux Core, fabricating metal structures, inspecting welds for quality, and collaborating with fitters and inspectors to ensure accurate assembly and installation.

Qualifications

• Welding certification from a recognized program (preferred).
• Proven Combo Welder experience in industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Stick, MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and welding symbols.
• Understanding of metallurgy, welding processes and standards.
• Attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and welding symbols.
• Weld metal structures and piping using multiple techniques.
• Fabricate and assemble components with precision.
• Set up jigs/fixtures and clamp workpieces securely.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure code compliance.
• Collaborate with fitters and inspectors for proper assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
