You will read drawings, perform fit‑up and welding of pipes and structural components, operate plasma cutters and threading equipment, and ensure ASME compliance and quality in a fast‑paced industrial setting.

Qualifikationen

• Previous welding/prefabrication experience in field and shop environments.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW, plasma cutting, and related techniques.
• Blueprint reading, schematics and ASME codes knowledge.
• Familiarity with sheet metal, ductwork, pipe threading, or assembly fabrication.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools; math skills for fabrication.
• Safety-focused in demanding industrial settings.
• Able to stand, bend, weld in confined spaces, lift materials.

Aufgaben

• Perform various welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform fit‑up, fabrication, and welding of pipe, structural components, and assemblies.
• Prepare materials for welding: cutting, beveling, grinding, and cleaning.
• Produce welds meeting visual, dimensional, and quality inspection requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate power tools such as plasma cutters, pipe threading equipment, and hand tools.
• Execute rigging, assembly, and installation of metal parts on construction sites or within manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards.
• Follow safety procedures related to welding operations, rigging, scaffolding, and working at heights or around heavy equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment by inspecting equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
