What You'll Be Doing
- Operating combo jet/vac equipment in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces
- Cleaning catch basins, manholes, lift stations, and storm/sanitary sewer systems
- Performing high‑pressure sewer line jetting to remove debris, grease, roots, and blockages
- Supporting CCTV inspection crews by preparing and cleaning pipelines prior to inspection
- Assisting with sewer maintenance, pipeline flushing, and emergency response work
- Driving combo jet trucks and transporting equipment to and from job sites
- Attending daily safety meetings and participating in site hazard assessments
- Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on combo jet equipment
- Preparing work areas by setting up traffic control and safety measures while identifying potential hazards
- Operating equipment safely around underground utilities, roadways, and active construction areas
- Accurately completing Badger, Federal, State, Municipal, and Customer paperwork and inspection reports
- Maintaining professionalism and strong communication with customers, municipalities, contractors, and crew members
What We're Looking For
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL
- Experience operating combination jet/vac trucks, sewer cleaning equipment, or related industrial equipment (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
- Experience driving a manual transmission (10‑18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)
- Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours, including emergency call‑out work when required
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
- Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Prior municipal sewer maintenance, underground utility, hydrovac, or industrial services experience (preferred)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
