Position: Combo Welder

The Combo Welder is responsible for joining metal parts, such as pipes and metal plates, according to specifications from layouts, blueprints, work orders, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using heat or electric arc-welding equipment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Must be a Journeyman Industrial Combo-Welder with 3-5 years of experience.
2. Weld 2" schedule 10 GTAW and 2" heavy wall carbon steel GTAW; weld structure and pipe using FCAW and TIG (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum). Weld tests will be conducted.
3. Perform full penetration welds with SMAW and flux core welding.
4. Start and complete x-ray welds using GTAW and SMAW processes.
5. Check the integrity of workpieces and measure to ensure specifications are met.
6. Operate and maintain welding equipment following safety regulations.
7. Perform work while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, including rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air respirators, safety harnesses, fire-resistant coveralls, hard hats, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
8. Maintain mobility and work in various positions, including overhead, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and working at heights.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years at the Journeyman level.

Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Note: This is a full-time maintenance position with no per diem or relocation funding. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
