Combo Welder

New Iberia, LA | Full-Time | $25-29/Hr.

We are seeking a Skilled Welder II to fabricate, weld, and install steel components for modular and industrial buildings. This role requires experience with structural steel, welding machines, hand tools, and compliance with AWS/ABS/DNV standards.

Duties:

• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

• Perform daily fit-up and layout duties

• Fabricate pieces per blueprints and specifications

• Maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards

• Crosstrain and assist in multiple stages of production

Requirements:

• 2+ years structural steel welding experience

• Proficient with welding machines, torches, grinders, tape measure, and other hand tools

• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications

• Pass onsite 3G/4G weld test and offsite MIG test

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in varied environments

• Must pass background check and drug screen

Preferred: Associates degree or technical certificate in welding, 3-5 years' fabrication and MIG welding experience

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
