Accelera in New Iberia, LA is seeking a skilled Combo Welder/Fitter for a full-time role. You will perform welding and fabrication tasks across various positions, interpreting blueprints to guide precise assemblies.

The role requires proficiency in 1G–6G welding positions, Flux Core, MIG, TIG, and stick processes, plus structural fitting. Compensation includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Proven background in 3G and 4G welding techniques.
• Proficiency with Flux Core and Short Arc/MIG processes.
• Experience in structural fitting to ensure precise assembly.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints to guide project execution.
• Must provide personal welding hood and standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required by projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly.
• Set up welding equipment and calibrate for 1G–6G positions.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure weld integrity and fit.
• Collaborate with team to ensure on-time delivery.
