Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Manager to lead installation, integration, and testing of Combat System equipment aboard ship during the post-delivery shipyard period. This on-site role tracks hardware, coordinates software delivery, and drives stage testing and light-off to bring the ship’s combat system to life.

You will coordinate with shipbuilders, the combat system engineering agent, and equipment/providers to maintain configuration, schedule, and test status,

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, systems, or related engineering discipline or equivalent Navy combat systems / technical experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of experience in combat system or complex electronics integration and test, shipboard installation, or Navy combat systems operations and maintenance.
• Direct experience with the Aegis Combat System (or a closely related shipboard combat system) across installation, integration, and test.
• Working knowledge of combat system stage testing, light-off, and qualification trials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ICDs, wiring/cabling diagrams, and test procedures.
• Strong coordination skills across shipbuilder and vendor stakeholders in a shipyard environment.
• Ability to work on-site in a post-delivery shipyard, including aboard ship in an active industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Track Combat System hardware — including GFE/CFE — from delivery through installation aboard ship.
• Maintain combat system configuration accountability against baselined docs and field changes.
• Manage material readiness — shortages, discrepancies, and long-lead items; coordinate with suppliers and Government.
• Maintain equipment and cabling installation status against the integrated master schedule.
• Coordinate installation of combat system elements with shipbuilder and trades.
• Verify installations against drawings, ICDs, and alignment requirements; perform cable checks.
• Resolve installation discrepancies and escalation of issues.
• Coordinate software delivery, load, and pre-test checkout with the engineering agent.
• Plan and coordinate Combat System stage testing, SOVTs, and light-off.
• Support turnover of the qualified system to operators.
