Job summary

3STEP Sports is creating a new individual contributor role to lead marketing execution and graphic design for its Combat division (Wrestling & Jiu Jitsu) in Glenview, IL. You will design for social, email, and web, while hands‑on with campaigns and event coverage.

You will own the day‑to‑day social calendars, collaborate with brand leadership and the national marketing team, and manage contractor creators to capture on‑site coverage at events.

Qualifications

• Combat sports experience preferred (Wrestling/Jiu Jitsu)
• 1–3 years design experience (agency or in‑house)
• 1–3 years marketing experience with social/email/website analytics
• Portfolio submission with resume
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus
• Strong layout, typography, and color sense aligned to brand guidelines
• Understanding of marketing principles and digital trends
• Strong communication and organization skills, able to translate vision into deliverables
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced youth sports environment

Responsibilities

• Design social graphics, event promotion materials, signage, website banners, and email assets for the Combat division
• Create and maintain branded templates and digital assets across multiple brands
• Collaborate with brand leadership and the national marketing team on creative initiatives
• Own day‑to‑day social content calendars, posting cadence, and community management for Combat brands
• Coordinate with external partners for day‑to‑day social media around joint events
• Drive email marketing strategy, content, and segmentation to support registrations
• Manage Combat brand websites, including copywriting, landing pages, links, SEO, and site updates
• Build and maintain marketing calendars across social, email, and web based on events
• Hire contractor content creators for on‑site social coverage at events
