Combat Controller Instructor

Position Overview
This position is contingent upon contract award. Resicum International LLC is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential contract award supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720 STG), Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Selection, hiring, and employment are contingent upon successful contract award and funding.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, laboratory, practical, and field instruction in Combat Control Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Conduct training in tactical communications, airfield and assault zone operations, air-to-ground integration, and mission planning.
- Instruct students in airborne operations, alternate insertion and extraction methods, convoy operations, and call for fire (CFF).
- Conduct live-fire weapons and demolition training in accordance with approved safety procedures.
- Evaluate student performance and provide mentorship to ensure mission readiness.
- Assist with curriculum development, lesson plan updates, and instructional improvements.
- Enforce operational risk management and safety standards during all training events.
- Support additional Special Tactics training requirements as directed by the Government.
Minimum Qualifications
- Former U.S. Air Force Combat Controller (AFSC 1Z2X1).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a 7-Level Combat Controller.
- No more than a five-year break in military service.
- Demonstrated operational Combat Control experience within the previous five years.
- Current FAA Class II Flight Physical.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties in austere and hazardous training environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required installation access and government credentials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Combat Control instructor experience.
- Graduate of a U.S. Air Force instructor qualification course or equivalent military instructor certification.
- Experience supporting Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) training.
- JSOC or USSOCOM operational experience.
- Experience developing lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Previous Department of Defense contractor instructional experience.
- Overseas operational or deployment experience.
