Job summary

Respire Homecare Services in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse & Delivery Technician to join a patient-focused home care team. The role involves warehouse operations, equipment deliveries, and maintaining vehicles and facilities, working a consistent 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' delivery experience.
• Ability to accurately accomplish objectives.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, up to 80 pounds.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents medical supplies/equipment deliveries.
• Verifies all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the packing list to the order and ensures all goods are in excellent condition.
• Loads, unloads products, medical supplies/equipment, and stocks shelves as necessary.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Packs, secures, maintains medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintains assigned company delivery vehicles by completing preventative maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
• Delivers, sets up, and maintains equipment at the delivery address.
• Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork including invoices, work orders, manifests, and logs.
• Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations.
• Delivers equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable federal, state, and local governmental regulations.
• Assists with company inventory periodically.
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Represents the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with clients/patients.
• Maintains equipment maintenance per manufacturer's guidelines as directed.
• Assists in resolving client equipment problems (troubleshooting), when appropriate.
• Assumes on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company policy.
• Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy.
