Job summary

Allegiance Group seeks a Senior Commercial Superintendent to oversee large-scale ground-up and retrofit projects in the Greater Columbus area. You will lead on-site operations, manage field teams, safety, quality, and schedule, and coordinate with PMs, owners, architects, and subs.

You will review drawings, monitor milestones, conduct daily meetings, handle RFIs, and mentor junior superintendents, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Senior Superintendent/Lead Superintendent with a GC.
• Experience across offices, retail, mixed-use, hospitality, or institutional developments.
• Able to manage multiple subs and large field teams; handle complex schedules.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, trade scopes, sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through project completion and closeout.
• Oversee subcontractors, field personnel, site logistics, safety, quality control, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Executives, owners, architects, engineers, and subs.
• Review drawings, specs, and schedules to identify issues and maintain progress.
• Conduct daily site meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and progress updates.
• Monitor manpower, materials, deliveries, inspections, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Oversee RFIs, field documentation, inspections, punch lists, and closeout.
• Support preconstruction planning, site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead and mentor Superintendents and field personnel.
